Description
English: First leaves on Bougainvillea propagated by planting a twig in soil. The big leaf is 2 cm (0.79 in) long, the thorn is 0.7 cm (0.28 in) long. Ooty, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. Focus stack of 70 images.

NOTE: This image is a focus stacked image of First leaves on Bougainvillea cutting consisting of 70 images that were merged using Zerene Stacker v1.04. As a result, this image underwent digital manipulation which may have included blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different to reality at the points where the images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
