So-called \u201cpublic health\u201d has become a contradiction, and if we want to restore confidence in our healthcare institutions, we must put these bloated agencies on the DOGE chopping block. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) spends more money than any other federal department, with a budget of over $1.6 trillion. What\u2019s worse, HHS has lost sight of its true mission: protecting Americans\u2019 health, and is instead focused on politically-motivated projects that prioritize DEI initiatives over sound health policy. Matt Kibbe is ripping the lid off of the incompetence, corruption, bloated budgets, and activity that is downright criminal.<\/p>\n

Before launching FreedomWorks, Kibbe served as a congressional Chief of Staff and House Budget Committee Associate. He was also Budget Director for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Senior Economist for the RNC under Lee Atwater. Kibbe did graduate work in economics at George Mason University and received his B.A. in economics from Grove City College. He lives in Washington, DC with his awesome wife Terry, and their objectivist cats, Ragnar and Rearden.
